libwmf is a library to convert Microsoft's wmf file format to something useful. Currently bindings exist to convert them to onscreen X graphics, to the gif format and to fig. Future plans include completion of the fig format conversion and other vector based formats. This is a sister project to mswordview.
libwmf-0.1.16: description + notes
Three utility programs are included with the libraries:
- wmftofig converts .wmf files to .fig format.
- wmftogif converts .wmf files to .gif format.
- xwmf displays wmf files on a X display.
This is an early alpha release and as such is buggy, and lacking features. These will come in time, as will a programmers reference for the API to add more conversions to libwmf.
